Verso organizes the editor so you always know where you are. Understanding the sidebar once makes every other task faster.
The areas in your sidebar
With a style active — say Verso — the sidebar for the home page shows:
- Verso header — announcement bar and header.
- Cart — the cart drawer, shared by all styles.
- Verso home — the home page’s content sections.
- Template — a small shared area (recently viewed lives here).
- Verso footer — the footer.
- Popups — the age verifier and promo popup, shared by all styles.
Navigate to the about page, a product, or a collection and the middle areas change to that page’s sections for your style. The other two styles’ sections are simply not present — not hidden, not listed, not offered in the picker.
Add, reorder, hide, remove

Add: click Add section inside an area. The picker offers general-purpose sections plus the ones designed for your style.

Reorder: drag the section by its handle, or use the arrow buttons in its ⋯ menu.

Hide: click the eye icon. The section keeps all its content and can come back any time — prefer this over deleting while you experiment.

Remove: from the section’s ⋯ menu. Its content is gone once you save, so hide first if unsure.
Blocks inside sections
Most sections hold blocks — the individual cards, steps, reviews, or links inside them. Click the section to expand its block list, drag blocks to reorder, and use Add block for more. Each block has its own settings and its own text fields (which fall back to demo copy when empty — see Replacing the demo copy).
Every section also has a Colors group at the bottom of its settings — the fastest way to make any section feel different without touching the global palette. See Background and text colors.
