Why is there no dropdown or mega menu?
Your menu has no nested items. Mega menus come from menu structure, not a theme setting: in Online Store → Navigation, drag items to the right under a parent. Any top-level item with sub-items opens as a panel. See Menus and mega menus.
Why does the language selector toggle do nothing?
The selector only renders when your store has two or more published languages. With one language there is nothing to select, so the footer stays clean. See Languages and currencies.
Why is there no Follow on Shop button?
It appears only when the Shop sales channel is installed and Follow on Shop is available for your store. Install the Shop channel from the Shopify App Store and the button shows up where its toggle is enabled.
Where do newsletter signups go?
Into your Shopify customer list with marketing consent, tagged newsletter. Customers in your admin, filtered to subscribed. See Newsletter signups.
Where do contact form messages go?
To your store’s sender email — Settings → Notifications in the admin. See Contact form.
Why does my store mention a railway arch in Bermondsey?
That is demo copy showing through an empty field. Every empty text field falls back to your style’s demo content. Do the sweep in Replacing the demo copy.
Why don’t I see the other styles’ sections?
By design. The editor only shows the active style’s layout so nothing can be broken by accident. Switch the Active theme style to work on another style — see Choosing and switching styles.
Can I use my own fonts?
Turn off Use brand fonts under Theme settings → Typography and pick from Shopify’s font library. See Logo, favicon, colors, and fonts.
Does the map need a Google API key?
No. Type your address into the store locator’s Map address field and an interactive Google map renders with no key or billing. See Store locator and Google map.
