By default Verso runs full-bleed. Boxed view instead centers the entire site in a framed container on a contrasting backdrop — a gallery-matte effect that suits editorial brands.
Turn it on

Open Theme settings → Layout.

Set Site view to Boxed.

Tune the frame: Frame width (how wide the box is), Outer background color or an Outer background image, Border color, thickness, opacity, and shadow strength.
Anything you leave unset falls back to colors derived from your active style’s palette, so the frame always coordinates.
Good to know
- The setting is global and survives style switching — set it once.
- Every fixed element (sticky headers, Baseline’s rail, the buy bar) aligns itself to the frame automatically.
- On screens narrower than the frame width, boxed view is effectively invisible — mobile shoppers see the normal layout.
A subtle outer texture image at low contrast — paper grain, linen — sells the framed effect without stealing attention.
