Maren & Field’s home page is built like an issue of a magazine — numbered features that add up to one editorial voice. Top to bottom:
Cover hero
A full-bleed cover image with your headline overlaid (set an Accent word to tint one word) and a floating “In this issue” contents card. Each contents line is a block — link them to the sections and pages they reference.
Opening note
An editor’s letter with a drop cap and an offset image cluster. This is your founder’s voice — write it like a letter, not a pitch.
Ingredient navigator
Serif pills, one per ingredient or theme; selecting one swaps in a full editorial panel with an image, season line, story, “Tastes of” and “Eat with” notes, and up to three related products you assign per block. On phones the pills scroll with a progress bar.
Mixed mosaic
The shopping moment: one lead product card with add-to-basket, medium cards, and small cards. Assign a product to each block; titles and prices come from the products themselves.
Recipe spread and photo essay
A numbered recipe on the pine panel, then captioned figures with a stat column. Both are pure editorial — use them to show the product in real life.
Letters (reviews)
Reviews presented as letters to the editor. Each review block has a star rating (1–5); the big score in the margin averages them automatically, or you can override it. See Star ratings and reviews.
Promo duo
Two panels: the subscription club pitch and a secondary story (jar returns in the demo). Both have their own headings, copy, stats, and buttons, plus top and bottom padding controls.
