Two product rows fill themselves without any curation from you.
Product recommendations
On product pages, the recommendations section asks Shopify for products related to the one being viewed and renders them as cards. In its settings you can:
- Change the heading (each style ships its own voice — “Brewed alongside”, “More from the shelf”, “Completes the stack”).
- Set the number of products.
- Switch intent between Related (similar items) and Complementary (goes-well-with items — configure pairs in the Shopify Search & Discovery app for best results).
Recently viewed
The recently viewed section remembers the products a shopper has looked at (on their device, privately) and shows them as a row — a gentle way back to something they almost bought. It renders nothing until the shopper has a history, so a fresh visit simply skips it.
In the theme editor preview these sections can look sparse — recommendations need a real catalog with purchase and browsing signals to get interesting, and recently viewed needs a browsing history. Judge them on the live store after a few days of traffic.
