Logo, favicon, colors, and fonts

The Theme settings that define your brand across every page.

These settings live under Theme settings (the paintbrush icon) and apply across the whole store, whatever style is active.

Add your logo

  1. Open Theme settings → Brand.

  2. Upload your logo under Logo. A transparent PNG or an SVG works best.

  3. Set Logo width to size it in the header. The height follows automatically from your image’s proportions.

  4. Upload a square Favicon (32 × 32 px or larger) for the browser tab.

The footer has its own separate logo upload, because all three footers sit on a dark background where a light version of your logo usually looks better. See Footer setup.

Colors

Each style ships with a tuned palette, exposed in Theme settings → Colors: page and deep page backgrounds, ink (the dark tone used for dark panels and headings), text tones, accent, and borders. Change any of them and every section follows, because sections draw from these shared tokens rather than carrying their own copies.

Want a one-off color on a single section instead? Every content section also has its own Colors group — see Background and text colors.

Fonts

Verso ships with hand-picked brand typefaces per style, self-hosted for speed. Under Theme settings → Typography you can:

  • Keep Use brand fonts on (the default) for the designed look, or
  • Turn it off and pick your own heading, body, and accent fonts from Shopify’s font library.

Set the logo before you fine-tune anything else. Several header layouts adapt their spacing around it, so it is easier to judge the rest with the real logo in place.
