The Popups area at the bottom of the editor sidebar holds two overlays shared by all styles. Both ship disabled; nothing appears until you enable it.
Age verifier

Click Age verifier in the Popups area and turn on Enable.

Set the minimum age, the heading and message, and where a declined visitor is sent.

Choose how long a confirmation is remembered, so returning adults are not re-asked on every visit.
This gate is a front-door prompt, not legal age verification. If your products are age-restricted, confirm what your jurisdiction actually requires.
Promo popup

Click Promo popup and enable it.

Set the delay before it appears and how many days a dismissal is remembered — respect the dismissal; nobody converts on the fourth interruption.

Fill the offer copy. The popup can carry a newsletter form, feeding the same subscriber list as the footer — see Newsletter signups.
In the theme editor, overlays behave slightly differently so they do not trap you while designing. Judge timing and feel on the storefront preview.
