Three helpers are built into the product page. Each stays invisible until its conditions are met, so there is nothing to break by ignoring them.
Size chart

Create a page with your size or fit information under Online Store → Pages.

In the Product information section’s settings, assign that page as the Size chart and set which option name triggers it (default: Size).

Products with that option now show a size chart link beside the picker, opening your page in an overlay.
Pre-order
Tag a product preorder in your admin and its button changes to the pre-order label with a note beneath. Set the product’s inventory policy to “Continue selling when out of stock” so orders can actually be placed. Untag to return to normal.
Sticky add to cart
When a shopper scrolls past the buy box, a slim bar appears with the product, price, and an add button — so the purchase is never more than one tap away on a long page. It is on by default; toggle it in the Product information settings.
