Each style presents reviews in its own voice — quotes on Verso, letters to the editor on Maren & Field, a data table on Baseline — but they all work the same way underneath.
Add and rate reviews
-
Open the review section on your page (Product reviews, Letters, or Review data band).
-
Each review is a block: fill the reviewer, title, and body, and set its Stars rating from 1 to 5. Not everything has to be five stars — a considered four-star review reads more honestly than a wall of perfect scores.
-
The section’s big overall score averages your review blocks automatically. Want to show a different number (say, your platform-wide rating from thousands of reviews)? Type it into the Rating field, which overrides the average. Leave that field blank to stay automatic.
The supporting numbers
Fields like the review count (“from 2,184 verified reviews”), reorder percentage, and verification line are plain text — put your real numbers in them, and keep them current.
Using a review app instead
These sections are curated showcases — you choose what appears. If you run a review app (Judge.me and similar), it manages collection and display through its own blocks on the product page; the theme’s summary stars on product cards read the standard rating metafields such apps write. Both approaches can coexist: app for volume, theme sections for the highlights.
Only present real reviews as reviews. Fabricated testimonials are illegal in many places and, more practically, customers can tell.
