Maren & Field’s header reads like the front of a periodical: a slim utilities row on top, your wordmark or logo centered, and a numbered index of navigation links underneath, bounded by rules.
Where to edit it
Open the M&F header area in the editor sidebar and click the Masthead section.
The utilities row
Three small text slots frame the page like a magazine folio:
- Issue label — left slot, e.g. “No. 214 · Autumn”.
- Ticker — the center slot in accent color. Batch news, shipping notes, whatever is current.
- Location label — right slot, alongside the country and currency when you sell in more than one.
Navigation and mega menus
The numbered nav renders from your assigned Menu. Items with nested sub-items open as a full-width editorial panel with serif link columns — and the menu promo card (below) appears inside each panel. Build the nesting in Online Store → Navigation; see Menus and mega menus.
The menu promo
Under the Menu promo heading, fill the kicker, heading, text, image, and link by hand — or pick a Feature product or Feature collection and the card fills itself with the live title, price or description, image, and link. The same card appears in the mega panels and at the bottom of the mobile menu.
On mobile
The bar tightens to a search icon and menu button on the left, the wordmark centered, and the basket on the right. Account moves into the slide-out menu. Menu items list with their numbers, sub-items indent beneath them, and the promo card sits at the bottom. Colors for the drawer are under the Mobile menu heading.
